HAHAOYA is a word that translates to MOTHER. This chair is an ode to just that. My benevolent Mother. Its outstretched back rest is meant to represent the strength and support that only a mother could provide.
Each piece of this collection is designed to hold both the body and imagination. Honoring Japanese brutalist restraint and my love for futurism, this chair is simultaneously grounded and otherworldly. Its carbon black concrete seat is designed to mimic that of a volcanic lunar surface paired with a lustrous chrome plated or smooth powdercoat finish and polished nickel end caps.
The HAHAOYA chair can also be fully customized if you prefer a lighter or brighter color palette.
