MAHOU is the Japanese word for MAGIC or SORCERY. Inspired by the futuristic, space age architecture of Arcosanti, AZ, this portal of a chair is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortably functional. During my years of living at Arco, I spent many hours admiring or gazing out of its giant circular windows and door ways, often feeling transported to a different dimension or into the surrounding canyons. The shape of this chair was inspired by those windows. The MAHOU chair holds a very special place in my heart, for it was the first chair I ever designed and built with my own hands.
The MAHOU Lounge can be fully customizable. Made from chrome plated or powdercoated steel and paired with a gfr concrete or wooden seat.
