The UOMO chair, meaning HUMANITY, is inspired by the futuristic, space age architecture of Arcosanti, AZ. Its unique form is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortably functional. During my years of living at Arco, I spent many hours admiring the shapes and shadows created by the other worldly architecture of Paolo Soleri and Tomiaki Tamura, often feeling transported to a different dimension or into the surrounding canyons. This chair was designed in honor of the love and kindness that exists within small community living.
The UOMO dining chair can be fully customizable. Made from chrome plated or powdercoated steel and paired with a gfr concrete or wooden seat.
